Stories have been shared since the beginning of humankind and Abdul plans to use his background in statistical modelling and data analytics to be able to discover and deliver stories in the modern age of big data. He is soon to graduate from UNSW with a double degree in Actuarial Studies and Statistics and aspires to bring his fondness for numbers and belief in human insights to his current role as a brand and data analyst.

Anna’s love of problem solving and understanding consumer behaviour led to her interest in marketing research. Data was a later love for Daniel, whose background is more in humanities and social sciences, including writing fiction. As it turns out, drafting up Excels about your favourite hobbies is a slippery slope to becoming a data guy. Daniel hopes to break through the clichés of “Arts kid” vs “STEM major” and bring out the beauty behind numbers and the data behind the arts. He brings a passion for social justice and sustainability into his role as a data analyst. Aaron is a passionate researcher with over 15 years’ experience, working in both Australia and the UK. He began his career with Kantar Media in London before moving to Melbourne in 2012 and joining Nielsen.
